Textbooks and Publications. The technology team at SDL have
selected the following list of useful publications for all
textile laboratories and teaching institutions. They cover
fibre, yarn and fabrics as well as dyeing and finishing. Any
other title in print can usually be obtained on request.

Provides an introduction to textile standards for students at
many levels. BS methods of testing fabrics are described and
adapted for classroom use with student experiments. Technical
language of the textile industry is introduced in a jargon-free
manner.
