Examining Machine. To assess the evenness, hairiness, neps and
other imperfections in a representative sample of yarn wound at
a pre-determined pitch onto a tapered black board. Variable
pitch traverse 8 - 19 wraps per centimetre, variable winding
speed drive, with yarn package stand and 2 tapered aluminium
black boards 575mm x 250mm x 160mm. Assessment against
photographic comparison standards (not included).
