Texcheck
Electronic Thread Counter. A portable solid state electronic
instrument which counts the total events in 10” (300mm) of
fabric. It is ideal for counting weft (filling) and warp threads
in woven fabrics and courses (wales) in knitted fabrics. For an
accuracy of 1/10th of a pick or course. The measuring head is
fully adjustable for simple or complex fabrics and can be
calibrated with the optional Oscilloscope. The display is
switchable from imperial to metric units and the equipment can
be used on voltages between 90 and 250 VAC.
The optional Texcheck Oscilloscope is used for calibrating the
position and angle of the photo-electric count sensor for
specific fabrics to ensure reproducibility on later occasions.
